| Project Description | Hydrofix were contracted by Ørsted to provide a Survey Manager/Deputy Project Manager to the Hornsea 03 and Hornsea 04 wind farm development projects from March 2018 to July 2020. Additionally, we were contracted to provide Offshore Supervisors to the HOW02 (GP2b) and HOW04 (GP1c) projects in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Further to the original project remit, Hydrofix also provided survey consultancy to support the Ørsted HOW02 and BSW02 projects. |
The project responsibilities and services delivered encompassed project management & geophysical technical support to the Site Investigation Project Manager and Technical Lead.
Hydrofix provided full contract management of the geophysical, geotechnical and UXO site investigation surveys including scope of work preparation, evaluation, award and Contractor QHSE document review and implementation.
During the survey works, Hydrofix were responsible for the provision and management of Offshore Supervisors; the review of the contractor’s survey data and reports, and provided the ultimate data sign off. We gave support to the Environmental Consent and commercial teams for licence applications.
Hydrofix also provided expert support to the fisheries liaison team, assisting with the development of a new strategy of collaborative site occupancy, thereby reducing Ørsted’s expenditure on fisheries clearance.
