Hydrofix joins RSK Group
RSK has acquired Hydrofix, a marine geoscience consultancy operating in the offshore wind energy and telecommunications sectors.
Established in 2015 and based in Cheshire, Hydrofix comprises a team that collectively holds more than 100 years of combined experience in offshore site investigation, seabed preparation and construction consultancy support throughout a project’s life cycle.
Clients include SSE, Ørsted, RWE, Marubeni Corporation, Sumitomo Corporation, Global Marine Group, Enshore Subsea and James Fisher Renewables.
Recent projects have included the provision of operational support from desktop study through to the installation of multiple fibre-optic power cables on the west coast of Scotland and assisting the planning and site investigation of cable routes across the English Channel and Irish Sea, as well as various wind farm unexploded ordnance (UXO) investigation, inspection and clearance campaigns in the North and Baltic Seas.
